WIDWID like a Fiat 500 in Emory University

I bicycled across America three times to discover why I do what I do (widwid). I did not expect to discover that we’re 100% wrong 50% of the time. We don’t solve challenges from a clean slate - we start with presumptions made from previous false conclusions!

We are much like a Fiat 500. We head optimistically into fall with our skylight open and wicker basket exposed. Quickly, we are facing mountains of snow ill-prepared, lacking horsepower and guidance. We are shocked by every upset, and discover that it is not just a ‘three-hour tour’ (Gilligan's Island).

My transformation is obvious. My wife and business partner Angelina has watched me mature, not simply age. My awareness, understanding, and discipline have a solid 3/4” spine and three pounds of evidence across 45 video episodes and 336 full-color pages.

Solid Methodology for Emory University Veteran Self-help

Emory University self-help for veterans

It turns out that my methodology is solid.

Yes, it took me several years to figure out what I was doing. Better said; I didn't know what I was doing had a name. It turns out that self-reflection video modeling is a very effective method for self-help and personal development. It's especially effective for intelligent, motivated, eccentrics like Curious Explorers, Ambitious Entrepreneurs, Functional Aspergians, Military Veterans, Wounded Warriors, Christian Storytellers, Noble Fathers, and Fatherless Champions.

Scotomaville Emory University Veteran Self-help Pitch-deck

An expedition is a journey with a purpose. Our military duties were exactly that. Too bad we were not told so. Expeditions are filled with challenges, heart-break, losses, and some end with triumph. All of us Vets should appreciate our experiences, but few will share their stories, and even less will see the value, and healing that storytelling brings. That is what I discovered with Scotomaville.
